Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle, Virpil Constellation Alpha Prime Bind File anyone?

I recently upgraded my Thrustmaster Warthog Stick with the Virpil Constellation Alpha Prime.
After doing that, I realized that Elite does not see my Stick or Throttle, Or I should say, doesn't create a
binds file for it.
I know I could go with either the "Blank" or "Generic Joystick" and bind from
scratch, but of course that means also doing all my keyboard binds as well.

Does anyone have a binds file they would be willing to share with me?
It would be greatly appreciated ! ! !
THANKS !!

As an Addendum, I also use Voice Attack and the HCS Voice Packs as well.

Hmmm... I have a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Stick & Throttle. After a couple of years the joystick died, I replaced it with Logitech Extreme 3D PRO, kept the Warthog throttle, and they cooperate just fine.

Had to install Logitech software too, but Elite can combine Thrustmaster and Logitech. Can separate what I am clicking where.

Do you have both Thrustmaster and Virpil software installed?

Have you thought about using the Virpil software to get it to produce the keystrokes that you want? That way you can leave all of your key stroke bindings the same.

You should also be able to remove all references to the TM stick from your bindings file and just leave the Throttle and keyboard bindings which will allow ED to load the bindings file without complaining. (Keep a copy before doing any edits, and best to also rename the file and read https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threa...-free-backed-up-binds-look-no-further.554451/ to find out more about how the file works).

You could also remove all references to the Throttle as well, leaving you with a keystroke only file to start from.

Yeah thought of that, I'd have to save it as a Profile in the Software
and enable it when I play Elite.
I am also starting to play DCS World as well.

The problem is caused by Elite's quirky input management.

When the game cannot locate a device referenced in the bindings file, it will load the default binds or, if it has been deleted, create a new one. The old binds file is still there; it just isn't loaded.

The solution is to leave the Warthog stick plugged in. The game will load the bindings when you log in. You then remap to the Virpil stick. Once you've remapped to the new stick, restart the game with the Warthog stick removed and it should load the correct binds file. If it does not, open the binds file in notepad ++ and use Ctrl+H to find and replace the references to the Thrustmaster stick.

Thanks, That may indeed be the best solution. That way I only have to change the
Flightstick binds.
