thrustmasters tmcjoycpl.exe dot detecting xbox elite controller

got a strange thing going on my Xbox elite series 2 controller is not seen by elite dangerous nor is it seen by thrustmasters tmjoycpl.exe
it use to work now it don't

am using Xbox usb wireless adapter
it don't see it in blue tooth mode either
I can get it to work if I plug it in with the cable

Windows 11 sees it fine in device manager and in Xbox Acessories works fine in WMR also just not seen in elite
steam and steam VR see it
any thoughts?

Also make sure it's seen as controller 1 (the LED around the Xbox button indicate which controller it's being seen as) ... if I unplug and replug my 360 controller sometimes it's seen as controller 2 and not 1 which means Elite won't see it, this situation is usually fixed with an unplug and a PC reboot and plug the controller back in just before the BIOS POSTS

ok guys what it was, was the KAT tracking software it a body tracking app I found this out by going to bios and disabling Legacy usb support
and the app would not run upon closing down at start up game controller picked up the Xbox controller again.
what a weird on for sure I had just reinstalled that software lol don't know why I had not though of that

anyway guys thanks for letting me bounce this off you . it was UseLessUK that got me thinking to check the bios setting
