Apologies if this bothers you so much...No one forcing anyone to help or read this post...But to be honest we wouldn't be here and Elite Dangerous would not have got funded if we had not used social media to generate pledgers..

Love it or hate it .... It does get the word out

I'm surprised there is so little support for this. It requires so little effort but it can make such a big difference to so many people. Please support the kickstarter and the Thunderclap. It could make all the difference!

It was the first time I heard of "Thunderclap" as well. It is basically a system that "makes a lot of noise" on a set date and time by posting a message about the Kickstarter through the Facebook/Twitter etc. accounts of all those who have agreed to participate it.

In short, it is a system to try to get enough attention from people to persuade them to check the Kickstarter out and perhaps pledge for it.

No one's forcing anyone to participate. We are very grateful for your support as it is and we will not strong-arm you into the world of "social" media. :)

I think there's a lot of apprehension over what Thunderclap is, and a general aversion to social media amongst many on the forums. Plus getting people's attention right now seems really hard somehow :-/

Honestly people ...Clicking this link does not cost or do anything to your Facebook etc.. It just means you support the advert that will be sent out about the Fantastic Book Kickstarter..
