I worry when the cycle takes a bit longer then usual. Hopefully PowerPlay cycle dont get a GOD treatment here or there <_<
I am getting worried now too. It's 08:25 UK time and still showing the same miserable message. Servers been offline for 1 hour 25 minutes and adding up too it would seem. Nothing from Frontier as usual.

While the launcher and menu screen still mention maintenance the game actually lets you log in. So likely one of two things...the update script was still pointed at the 2.4 universe and didn't run on the live version or something else happened to prevent the weekly tick from happening.
We know the tick didn't happen because the attacked starports did not move to repair state, the Gnosis was scheduled to go to Evenses but has not moved from Maia and the power play cycle did not happen either.

You're correct about the main menu letting me log in, but I just got kicked with a transaction error so I suspect they're not actually finished. Messy to allow the game to let us in though.

Yeah the lack of communications is par for the course it seems when things go mammaries up!
I mean it would be nice to know what is going on. The lack of feedback is deeply upsetting personally. Timely communications before the fact would be nicer than pure speculation on my part.
Any Company knows that Good Communication skills are highly valued. Just ignoring us is very poor way to conduct business as I see things. Like I said, we are all big boys and girls and can take bad news as well as good news.

The original message said they were hoping the servers would be back online by 0740 UTC, and I logged on and played for 15-20 minutes (from around 0815 UTC).
I logged out because I had to go and do something that was going to take about 30 minutes, and when I came back, I couldn't connect to the servers anymore.
Then I saw that the servers were hoping to be back up by 0930 UTC.
