edit: So, I feel as if there should be a vendor closer to the ride, to allow the correct amount of guests to access the ride platform, some parks don't have a vendor guy right at the entrance of the que.

Also I'm wondering about ride operators, just thinking, and this is my own little idea for the team~ would it not be possible to add something once you've played the ride and it tells you to place the entrance, then exit, to then have you place a small operating shed? (hopefully without the selected path type)

I'm glad they are giving us this option. I think it was originally this plan but they added the arch into the alpha to test it. Now my only concern is hopefully we can change the width like we can do on the paths right now.

Hope we can still choose the arch. I really like it. As least as prop.

Yah, they've shown concept art for creating many different arches to use.

Yes I agree. Vendor at the end of the line who let people in. Right now it looks terrible harmful! No one would design their entrance like that with no supervision in real life parks. What if the automatic door closes when someone try to sneak by? [where is it]
They should have a count roller gate instead. That's the common thing to have.

Personally hope they do re add it but with extra options such as the ability to keep the ride free, charge tickets (or money or however else they do it), or free but with a second path for 'vip' who pay for a 'fast pass' of sort.

I'm so happy for this. I love the entrances but some times I don't want a big building over my queue just to hide the metal work.

But those concept designs look very nice and some would be great without adding anything!

Yes! Love the ability to customize and not have one, also the concept art for multiple options look great. Keep up the great work Frontier![yesnod]

Looks good for the smaller 'kiddie rides' but the bigger ones need 'something'. Will have to wait to see what later updates give is I guess.

I love this!!!

As I stated before, that employee has been there at almost every park I've gone to. He/she usually is there to tell wait times and to help guests, not to get them on the ride.

I do think we need a ride operator (or 2) though.. the ride itself feels empty with no employees running it..

There's gotta be an employee behind the control booth coming later, that would be a bit strange to include it but leave it empty. Although flat rides don't have them.

I honestly knew that they would create a non-arch option... I mean... It's optional in both RCT and RCT3. I'm sure it did have to do with the fans suggesting it repeatedly though.

I'm pleased to see the ability to remove the large entrance sign, looking forward to creating new smaller entrance signs or buildings.

As for staff, if we are going to pay staff a fair wage then there must be an option to adjust the staff placement at the entry point.

For staff in general I see for a large rollercoaster a minimum of 5 staff really. (Entrance, gate, operator, and one either side of the car to check the restraints)

However one staff member could operate a lot of flat rides. (Let the people in, check their restraints, then press the go button). But the option to employ more would be nice.

More staff who are cheery and welcoming can really improve your day at a park, they are however expensive to employ.

I trust that frontier have already considered this though (as evidenced by the controller booth). No other staff are in the game (bar entertainers) so I'm not surprised gate/ride ops are not there yet, though I see places they will likely stand.

So it would be nice to choose what exactly you want with staff. From just a ride op, to the whole 5 staff to help with every section of the ride.

The topic isn't about ride op staff though, so I'll talk a little more about the gate there. A few things I'd like to see added.

Firstly it would be nice to add a ride chair for guests to try out. These are common, and often if someone is scared about going on a ride they'll sit in the chair to see how safe they feel. Also a popular spot to take a photo, it seems.

I'd like to see some ride elements make the scenery tab. We have these beautiful rides, and I placed down a hot air balloon flat (sorry don't remeber the names yet). I thought it would be really cool to put some hot air balloons floating above the entrance, and maybe up the queue path. Would be great to see some of the theming elements from the rides appear as scenery.

Finally, the concept for the gates and signs looks great. Love the aesthetics!

Love that they have removed this and hope they'll introduce alternatives (which I'm sure they will). I would love to see a "tester seat", which I've seen many times outside various queue entrances.

ok, sorry for the dumb question but how do you remove it? I just loaded PC up and it is still in mine and I have not gotten an update since V0.2.2.
