Ticks not correct times and states not fully updating. Any info is appreciated FDev.

The tick drifts. This is normal. Not always pleasant, especially when it gets as late as it is now - which makes operational planning rather tough for those in Europe. I'm in California, and have seen it as early as 6AM local time and earlier, to now after 2PM, and just about anything in between. It is what it is. Whenever a new patch gets applied, it will drift again. It may even skip a day to get it back to a British day time.... All happened before

With regards to CZ's not spawning on the first day of war: they will start to appear about 6-8 hours after that day's tick. You can cycle modes from that time if you don't see them in your preferred mode. Earlier than that, it's not really worth the effort. Hunt for bounties until your CZs appear.
We are 19 hours after the tick that changed the 2 faction states to war but all very good info. thank you.

I do kind of feel like not having consistent tick times is like when you go to your local 24 hour store and finding out its not 24 hours and the owner decided to pick random times when the store will be open from then forward

dont over egg it, its not random, once it shifts due to an update or some back end server work it remains consistent until the next shift. (unless it goes plop of course)

Not optimal of course. early evening as it has been for a while was perfect - at lease for us.

Re CZ spawn. If looking in the left hand nav panel it won't display CZs more than 1000Ls distance. I took a quick look at the GalMap for Marki and see three of the outer planets are about that far out. It might be worth SC'ing a little nearer, under 1000Ls and see if any CZ's emerge. At least you don't have a second star 200,000Ls out like my home system!

Thanks for the info but its a M class system with 10 planets in range of the parent star. Frontier actualy fixed the issue for me and very quickly I might add. 15 hours after i posted this it was all up and running smoothly.

Its actually forcing me to instance switch just to play the game. Doesn't FDev see that as an exploit?

No.

Well ,and I mean this with utmost respect, your understanding of random may be very different then mine. The last 7 days of ticks on xbox before this original post has gone as follows. 6 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. 4 p.m. 5 p.m. 9. p.m. and the one that made me make this post came at like 11 to 1130 on the last day. I understand that its not set in stone but could we get at least a ruff estimate. like 12 am est to 6 pm est. This way Tick officers from around the galaxy wont have to have no life and will be pulling out their own hair constantly just to be able to do their role.

Have you *ever* gotten Brits to do anything about dropping everything for *tea time*? :)

(Classic American grumble about culture wars- right when you need to get something done, it's tea time)
