Tiered Rewards for ground Conflict Zones

Right now you are effectively penalized for doing too well in an on foot conflict zone. The majority of the reward for one comes from the kills you get and if you do well, the zone is over faster and you actually get a smaller (significantly) reward than if you do poorly and thus have more time to get more kills.

By adding a tiered system for the rewards based on how many points you have left at the end of the zone, this disadvantage could be offset and a better reward could be given for particularly clean conflict zones. This might be useful in space based CZs as well, but I think those matter a bit less as they are more quickly reset, where as it is far slower to reset the ground based conflict zones, either running out to your ship and leaving and returning or taking a full taxi ride round trip.

This also makes sense lorewise as a faction would want to pay a mercenary more if you prevent more of their people from dying by requiring less reinforcements.

This is a fairly common theme, the rewards for space CZ events like Spec Ops are tiny and the most lucrative thing you can do is stack massacre missions and kill normal NPCs instead. It'd be nice to see skill and challenge rewarded a little more than it currently is, instead of it just being a pure numbers game.

That said High ground CZs currently pay out significantly more than space CZs for less effort and a lower barrier to entry, which I think should be addressed. It takes no time at all to blap a bunch of dumb feetmen with a shotgun, plus those are transferable skills from other titles that many people are already familiar with. Flying well and speccing a ship properly is more unique to this game and requires practice to get right. I'd like to see the rewards balanced to avoid one becoming the 'meta' way of collecting bonds competitively.

Yeah, it would be nice for a fix to that, though bounty hunting in space gives a pretty good rate of return. Combat Zones in space are also wildly out of touch with what you can get bounty hunting, though I suppose you have more support (in theory) in a space CZ than you do in a corrupted nav beacon.

I meant in terms of BGS contribution, the bonds you earn are one of the things that allow groups to decide the outcome of wars.
