Tiling, top 20 issues and John F Kennedy

I see a number of folks who have posted tiling pics, and lead me to see the tiling. But, they keep going back for more and more and more and more "evidence"?. Is that because, ultimately, it's no big deal and the planets, mostly, look fantastic anyways, or are they just gluttons for punishment? Shouldnt they always be in EDH by this point, which is still an option, or is EDO just that good, they can not resist?
Possibly they just get so involved in finding the bad, that looking for the good is of secondary interest?

Perhaps you are too involved in finding the good you ignore the bad ?

If there is an issue, there is an issue. Don't blame the players for when they find it. Ask it to be fixed instead. Especially when you don't care. It's not like fixing the tiling issue is going to affect negatively your experience.

Indeed, I cannot get entirely fixated on an issue that I know has been noted and efforts are being made to put right...
It just appears that there are some who post here happen to consider another day gone with the issue remaining requires further foot-stamping because it is still apparent - despite Frontier telling us that it wasn't going to be a quick fix, if it is fixable at all 🤷‍♂️

But you are quite correct, this is just a game - the expansion has issues, undoubtedly - but, please tell me why I should care about something that doesn't actually break the game or prevent my playing it?

I'm having a ball out in the black, should I be depressed instead?

Edit: Typos!

You shouldn't.
You should, however, respect the people who cares by not constantly trolling their thread.

Respect is the key word. Contrary to popular belief, respect is not about sharing a value, origin or way of life, it's about understanding other people can be different and still treat them correctly.

I don't care about VR, I don't own VR gear (and probably never will). I still hope VR will get back on track for the people who like VR. Respect =/= understanding.

You don't care about tiling and repetition, and that's ok for me. Ignore the thread about it then. It's not like it will do any harm to you.

You suggest I'm trolling? Honestly? That really is amazing!
Yet inserting negativity into a positive topic, with the usual 'melted ice cream' or other 'bad' stuff isn't trolling? (but very 'respectful' of the OP?)

I see...

ETA: I guess this is trolling?

Yeah...

Yeah, and if they start to enjoy it even, is the hope. Most of the time I dont notice the tiling, and I definitely dont 'look' for it, since thanks to these folks, I know it's there. I wouldn't mind if it was fixed, but the planets look so great, it's no deal breaker.

I thought respect had something to do with a fried chicken and a coke and 4 white pieces of toast.

Only way to really do it without people noticing the repeats, is to make some kind of very clever algorithm (that's also highly performant...) that can modify those pre made assets to the point that, that triangle one you see, can sometimes be morphed into an almost flat, slightly curved line.

It's er... a bit of a challenge to do in real time.

Or have 6 variants of each tile, and ensure no two identical tiles ever touch.
