Time Display

Not all of us live in the same Time Zone.... It would be nice if the displayed time in the game - matched the local Time.
If you want - display 2 times --- Universe Time being the Server Time and Ship Time being the local time taken off your own PC..... would be sort of a nice feature to have :S

make this suggestion when we have daylight saving, then even the players who have normal time = UTC+0 (GMT for British players...), they will understand the problem as the ingame time doesn't care about the useless daylight saving time and keeps on using UTC time.

Here we go again...

UTC - the clue is in Universal and Co-ordinated - stop being so parochial.

the ingame clock reflects servertime. it is great to keep a sense for the BGS tick, but also makes sense, since you are in space, where timezones don't really make sense.

There could be dual time. The Galactic Greenwich Time that we have now and a customizable local time that a Commander can set for whatever reason.

Yay! local time! So I don't have to peek out from under my VR headset trying to see my watch!

This.

I try to play just a couple of hours before bed. Before I notice I have 43 minutes to wake up from bed... Happened to me all the time with Skyrim until someone did a mod for it.

No need to add other time zones or anything, just a small clock that shows our PC clock.

While i wished there was an option to display the local time too sometimes, i got used to workarounds:
1. chat message timestamp is local time, so a message there reveals that
2. even my 6 year old son understood that that ingame clock is 1 or 2 hour off depending on DST times when i have explained it him once. could imagine thats more complicated for those in other timezones
3. those in VR on windows 10 "Hey Cortana, what time is it" or "set timer to X:YY" - works wonders sometimes.
4. Rift users AFAIK can pin any window into their 3D space ingame, so placing the desktop-clock there should be no problem at all.

Voice Attack can be asked for the time, but I'd also like a second clock display instead of workarounds.
