The time in Sandbox mode jumps from 6pm to 5am every time. It is very annoying because of the new firework-show, which should start at 10.15pm. Is there an option to turn that off?

There is an option to set your park hours in the operations tab.
Your park is probably opened from 5am to 6pm every day. If you change that time, time won't be skipped anymore.
