Time Periods

My suggestion is that you could enter a year (e.g 1998, 2002, 2016) and it would show what rides and stuff were around at that time.

Then, when it goes to the next year, it would tell us new rides, discontinued rides and rides that are still available.

There could even be a time where a ride-making company goes bankrupt and all of their rides are discontinued or handed over to another manufacturer.

You can keep discontinued rides if you have built them. But if you remove them, they're gone forever.

i like the idea but, 1998, 2002? lol how about 1930, 1960, 1990, 2020. it would be cool having an old fashioned park but that would require a lot more work to be done on the game [tongue]

I said 1998 and 2002 because they were examples when I said "you could enter a year".

So if I type in 1742 would I be able to only build a carousel and train? It would be pretty restricted to what decade it is, I mean a park from 1940 or even 1960 is going to have limited or less ride selection... I think the only option would be to ask for an "olden timey" theme and limit yourself on which rides you choose to build. it would be interesting if guests dressed for a certain era but that would require way too much work for something that's very limiting.

-1. this would be way too much effort for not alot of result. you can always check which rides didnt exist in the time that you want to build.
