Time to go back to farming res sites.

In all honesty at this point Beluga is not required. I bought one fitted it out and have since sold it and replaced with an Anaconda at least until the passenger mission bugs are ironed out. So far have had to abandon 60% of sightseeing missions due to beacon scans not registering or beacons not becoming available on the next stage of journey. As such am focusing on a to b missions until I upgrade this condas jump range and then I'll do the long range Explorer missions using neutron stars to make it quicker.

Don't know if you've read the bug thread, but the beacons will pop up if you're within 1000ls of them. Means a little more farting around, but it's worth it to me at least.

You really don't need a Beluga. The only value the Beluga and Orca have is the ability to fit luxury cabins. Any ship with large and plentiful internals and decent jump range can do very well as a passenger ship. I tried running some passenger missions in my Conda to great effect. The Asp makes a good one because of a great combination of internals and jump range. Even the Cobra makes a decent little passenger ship --- doubly so if you are into smuggling criminal masterminds for big bucks and possible ship destruction. ;)

Yeah I've got a real fast smuggling Cobra 3. Good idea sir. I'm off to outfitting.

@bubba,yeah they've added a class 5 and 6 to the orca.

wow.. they slipped that in on the quiet (its not about the cabin sizes, it will need a design change on the underside of the model).

i was contemplating an orca next... if this is the case i will definitely get one... i have to admit i am not convinced however.

I've given up on passenger missions, tourist missions are producing criminals for me

I can't afford the rebuy every 30 mins when my ship gets wiped out by a station, even though I scour the mission screen and all my passengers are clean

Wow, I'll need to check that out then, because I spent ages yesterday trying to figure out why I couldn't fit a fighter bay on my Orca, then when I looked at the crew lounge, I suddenly remembered that the Orca is not compatible with ship launched fighters.

I am highly dubious.
