Time to replace system, Build or Buy?

Its time to replace/upgrade my system and was wondering if I should build a new one or buy a prebuilt.
Its been awhile since I built my own, and not at all up to date on component specs of interchangeability
What would I be looking at cost wise? Kind of interested in VR if that is a factor in a build

At the moment the Ryzen 7 is the hotspot of all CPUs.Bought a R7 3700x days ago to upgrade my old R5 1600.

How much money you want to spend?

I built a machine for £500-600 about two years ago, non-VR (i3 coffee lake + 1060 3GB). Probably looking at another £200 for VR-capability plus the price of a headset.

It had been a while since I 'd doneI build too, but it's all very similar. I would do it that way again. If you're not confident building it, there are places that do custom builds and the mark-up isn't necessarily very much so you can go down that route. I built mine because I was trying to be as cheap as possible.
