General Timer on mission board

I could have done something wrong so if someone knows what to do in relationship to my suggestion, please tell me.x
I was looking at boards on different stations in a system and got to the last station and it did have the best deal for me. I went and setup my ship for the mission (~10min) and went back to the board and the original missions (but one) were gone. I do not see a mission refresh or count down.

My suggestion is, put an indication on the mission for the player to know the mission will no longer be available.

The Time Left was 1D 16H on them so I know I didn't take 1 day to setup my ship.

No need for a new suggestion, as you did get it wrong.

The mission timer indicates the time left to complete the mission. If you take the mission on and it times out, then you failed the mission and get a fine.

Independently, the missions in the board refresh after some time, so you can choose different missions.
There are some tricks to make this refreshes happen faster to get different missions or to collect several of the same type / to the same destination etc.

You can easily accept a mission and switch or outfit your ship afterwards.
Unless your don't have enough cargo / passenger capacity or are in a large ship and the mission target requires landing on medium landing pads.

the missions in the board refresh after some time
Correct "after some time", what time? That is the information that is needed. Why would you not give out the information but also say my suggestion of putting a indication on the mission for the player to know the mission will no longer be available?
So, yes, I do need a suggestion for putting an indication on the mission to know how long it will be available.

I believe there is some random in the Mission Board timer for how long missions are available, on purpose.
Like in a shop, someone might get in and buy the thing you would like to have when you next visit the shop, so it's gone.

Have a look at this thread:
How does this work, exactly? It's supposed to be on a 10 minute refresh, right?

That makes sense to me. There's a valuable courier mission say, you decide to go away and upgrade your FSD for the long journey, when you come back someone else took that mission. It's a useful simulation of how it would work, with lots of ships arriving and leaving good missions would be snapped up by the first mission runner that turns up, so if you don't take it right away chances are someone else will.

missions fall off the list every 10 minutes approx - since you can no accept (most) missions and then go change your ship there is no need for this "freshness indicator".
