General / Off-Topic Time's a-passing...

So like this is getting rather disappointing (again). It seems I'm being griefed by media...
For a while now, nutters all round the world (and mainstream media) have been claiming that the so called Planet X would be paying us a visit on the 23rd...

Well, it's the 23rd. At time of writing it's 11:30, so all but half way through the day...
Not only has this planet not arrived, but there's no sign... Not even a card in the slot saying it came "while we were out"...

Now yeah, it might just be late, but I'd think we'd have noticed if something that big was that close. I mean, wouldn't our solar neighbours be complaining about the noise by now?

So, I'm left to assume that the religious nutters have done it again... Oh well...

Let me know when the next date of our supposed extermination becomes due, would you. This one's been a bit of a let down. Even Vogons would have been better...

Tbf, it's an American thing so you should wait till American time. ;) Though for once, I'd love to see the media say something along the lines of "OK! If you're not right this time will you promise to shut up about your prophecies forever?"

Sure, but it'd be in the sky by now... I mean the sun is almost 500ls away and we can see it nice and big. The moon is hard to miss, and that's comparatively tiny.
I'm beginning to think they're making it all up.

Not sure any respected religion believes in planet x, so it would be more correct to say the atheists nutters have done it again.

But no worries here, every group of people of any size will always have a few nutters in their mists.

Well true on all counts of course.
They do however tend to base their predictions on ancient religious texts - tho in my opinion very nebulously indeed.

Slightly related.

I'd it bad that I don't fear the end-times, because I believe in... Okay, word eludes me. You know, whole life after life thing?

Anyway... I've mentioned a few times that I have a "voice" in my head. Anyway, I'm pretty confident that when I die, I'll be united with them in physical space.
