General / Off-Topic Tin foil hattery debunked!

Greetings CMDR's,

I think I may have found the source of all the problem's some of our scientists have been having - fried brain due to radio waves. Turns out that wearing a tin foil hat is about the worst thing you can do for your brain when trying to protect against radio waves - while you may stop the NBA satellite from knowing what you are doing it seems as if the radio waves closer to home are the ones to be afraid of!

Here's Linus to explain it all to us:

At least now I know why Cannon scientists are so crazy! :D

Tin foil is very effective against Beta radiation

According to Wikipedia "most beta particles can be stopped by a few millimeters of aluminium". I think an aluminium saucepan might be necessary, if you want to be safe. Has the advantage of also protecting against meteorites, and the unwanted attentions of the opposite sex. Though getting the handle caught in a revolving door might prove hazardous.
