Hi All
I'm thinking of buying this game for my grandchildren, (2-6 and 8 yrs respectively). Has anybody have any experience with this game?
There are a few versions, the base game at around £12 right up to a £40 version on Steam. So, what would be a good version to get to encompass most of the games features?

Any advice or recommendations appreciated!

That game is absolutely incredible, 100% recommend!!

My wife (who's generally not a gamer but does love designing things without any time pressure or survival mechanics involved) is completely hooked on it. It's a work of art and so beautifully designed, its creators are absolute geniuses. Not only are the building mechanics and aesthestics artfully done (you literally can't create something that isn't beautiful) but they've coded it in such a way that it will run on pratically anything (there's a whole lecture by its creators to a bunch of game dev's about how they did it somewhere on YouTube ... WAY over my head I'm afraid but it sounded VERY clever).

P.S. the sky's the limit on what you can build if you have the ambition!

P.S. I wasn't aware of different versions ... I think when we bought it there was only one. I did sign her up to one of the Beta's recently which included stairs and ladders but doing that was free.

The base game is nigh 17 EUR for me. That 40 GBP version you saw might be a bundle with other games. The base game will be fine. There is a version that includes the soundtrack for markup but you don't need that, the base game is fully featured in the cheapest version.
