tip for bounty hunters in anarchy systems

Install a hatch breaker and get the cargo of your wanted targets before you give them the final blow - just tested that and it can give good profit :) - i only scoop valuable items since i want to hunt and not just scoop - im surrounded by canisters :D

How can it be piracy in an anarchy?

Its a good point but the goods are still "stolen" by the current rules. Stealing is piracy in any system.

Try sitting outside a Federal Station with your "not pirated" goods on board and see how long that lasts :D

I have take up the mantle of the bounty hunter but I do admit every now and then the mark drops a juicy cargo that is just too hard to resist.

But what your doing is still technically illegal, you obtained the goods by force not trade. That being said im always willing to bring my goods to outposts, just not to where I could potentially lose my standing with any of the alliance's as a law abiding bounty hunter :)

Hmm - Saying killing/stealing from another ship in anarchic systems is not piracy is just wrong in my eyes. If you steal or kill it's piracy regardless of whether or not there is law enforcement in the region.

If you steal from a ship in on the high seas outside of any country's jurisdiction you are still stealing and a pirate!

Its better to just target their cargo hatch on subtargets, takes less time and saves mass/utility space

try to get only the cargo hatch when shooting with c3 beam lasers at an adder... just taking the shield down and getting the limpet on it is much easier
if someone wants to do this he should have a cobra, better an asp or an even bigger ship...

for the pirate point: its anarchy system with an anarchy station - i can sell the stolen stolen goods there to the blackmarket - no problem with cops, rep or anything else...

this is not pirating as i understand - why let the cargo explode with the ship when i can have it too besides the bounty :D

Do what i plan on doiung with a buddy tonight... He is a 'Merchant'... im a bloody murdering space psycho...

I'll shoot the cargo, he can scoop it.

(thats assuming i can get them at a nav point... Why can we not send signals to allies so the can drop from SC in the same 'Space'?!?!)

Lots of people, myself included have noted the lack of coop features. Apparently "Wings" are high on the list of new features for the new year. Looking forward to budding up my cobra with a pals lakon.

If you're bounty hunting to build rep for anyone, a cargo hold full of stolen goods can quickly make that rep go unfriendly... speaking from experience.

The game already has a system in place for allowing players to drop out in the same instance. When any ship drops from Super Cruise to normal space (even when interdicted) it leaves behind a "Low Energy Wake" . Target that and drop from Super Cruise, you will be close to the ship that left it behind.
Yes ... it's not easy...Yes its not quick.. Yes its Elite

We try that often but more times than not only the person who dropped first can see the target. The person who follows the wake can just see their buddy shooting at vacuum.
