dont fall asleep on honk jump marathons...that same old mechanic puts me into tired trance.....amount of times i have fell asleep in this game is unreal lol

lol im a VR player and my chair is comfy with a cushion head rest, when jumping i often lay back and watch the stars go past which is awesome at sending you to sleep, feeling it may happen now the jumps are 10 secs longer!!

Since you are in such a grand ship, I am sure you can afford to take on a passenger or two for some mid-range tourism. The spots are usually quite spectacular in one way or another - just be careful when you take the "high-gravity" mission... it is quite deadly if you don't know how to land on high-g planets.

And on the plus side; you'll get more money out of the exploration :)

hi g no problem, tested my shields already :) not taking passengers because ive no route planned ^_^

?? no1 have any places i should visit or locations of alien stuff?

Hiya, might be better to ask in the exploration forum. Plenty of mad advice there, I would think!

First suggestion would be to zoom out a little in the galactic map and see what you see. I believe Barnards Loop is a popular first destination.

Or you could head to 1000Ly from the galactic plane and search for a Neutron Star. First time you drop into one of those is quite impressive now!

Turn flight assist off in normal flight mode (i.e. Not in supercruise) and then engage FSD for a hyperjump. Then when you arrive at the next star you will automatically zero throttle. Even if you fall asleep you won't plough into the star or black hole that you arrive at.

You won't need to keep turning off flight assist as it will stay off while you make your plotted jumps.

My suggestion is to try having a look at the Expeditions on EDSM. It will give you a flavor of what people get up to and you may feel the need to join one.

They're pretty long expeditions, but it will help with getting an idea of routes to take, etc.
