I've been playing on Xbox for nearly 500 hours and I have gotten to be a pretty decent pilot with the T.Flight, but recently purchased ED on Steam. I started playing on PC with the T.Flight, but then thought I would try KB+B (for the simplicity, but yes, also for the precision). I have spent a few hundred hours with FAoff with the hotas, and I've gotten pretty good at it, but never got to where I could use fixed dps weapons reliably. Because of that experience, flying FAoff with the KBM came pretty quick, but it still feels a little wierd. I have wasd set to forward/reverse and lateral thrusters, qe are set to roll, space is up, and shift is down. Mouse is pitch and yaw. Is this close to what all the PvP gods are using? Also, I tried reletive mouse on and off, seems like it works great with FAoff, and not so good with FAon. FAon with relative mouse off felt like easy mode for aiming fixed dps weapons, but it seems like a lot of people are doing FAoff.
Anyway... got any tips? I'm doing this to get into more PvP, otherwise I would probably just be content with my hotas paired with gimbled weapons.
