Tips On Taking Out An Anaconda

I take out Pythons easily, but I always seem to have problem with Anacondas. Any tips on how to take out Anacondas efficiently and with minimum hall damage? I run a Cobra with x2 Class 2 Gimblled Multicannons and x2 Class 1 Beam Lasers and I have Shield Cell Class 4 Rating B (I think).
 
Target the power plant, stay behind his thrusters. Also, more, or better energy weapons (im sure youre having problems with knocking down the shields). I killed an Elite Anaconda with an Eagle.

Beams to take down their shields and dumbfire missiles for the hull - this is much faster than targeting subsystems, but also more expensive and safer (given speed).

Plasma-conda, very close and behind (once you get there he won't be able to shoot if you play it right)
Disco-conda / turreted multicannon or fragment cannon, long range while spamming chaff
Medium beam on shield then
-powerplant with beam for low rank anaconda
-fixed missile B1 spam on hull for dangerous / elite (cost more but they die faster and the reward is usually high enough).

1) Fit shield cells
2) Shoot at Anacodna power supply
3) Spam shield cells
4) Win

I've never gone after one with missiles, but have no doubts that they make quick work, but I have been getting my attack vector down, and can usually take out the power plant, and thus the ship with the hull still 50%+. I am flying a Viper with class A distributor, military armour, 2 class 2 gimballed multi cannons, and 2 class 1 gimballed beams.

The dumbfires work very well. A class 2 pod can hold 36, and they cost just 250 cr each. You can also fire something like 2.5 missiles a second (unlike 0.3/s for lower damage heat seekers) and given the large size and slow moving nature of Anacondas they're very fast to kill this way. There is nothing that takes them down faster. Nothing!
