Tips & Tricks

Sorry if this is already a thread but I couldn't find it if there is. I followed a YouTuber's tips & tricks for Franchise and started with the African Wild Dog to earn easy money because they have a ton of babies and mature at 1 years old, I also placed down all the facilities, educational stuff, charity bins and food/drink/gift stalls for guests but I'm earning like $100 every 2 mins or so. The guests won't even go to the stalls other than the Information stall. I also had the Peafowls who had babies as well as the Wild Dogs which peaked the guests interest a bit nut they weren't donating or doing anything that gave me any money. I was hoping some of you guys could provide some tips for franchise as it's actually quite hard. This is my 5th attempt now and my money is -25,000.

Dumb question but did you make sure to hire enough vendors to staff all the facilities? (I found having a 3:2 ratio of vendors - buildings was good so they could go on break every so often)

DeLadySigner? I think that's her youtube handle.. said get an animal or two (or pairs) of some of the higher 'quality' animals. I don't think that's the word that's used, but yeah.. Lol Don't have game opened to look quite yet, but yeah. She said that helps get people into the zoo and hanging around and spending things. :)

Yeah there were definitely vendors. Not sure if it's maybe some kind of bug. 😕

Yep I got two Wild Dogs around 750 quality (the highest available at the time) and after like an hour they finally had 11 babies who were higher quality and had good inherits. I released and sold the babies once they were adults but I had already gone bankrupt... 😭 The guests were pouring in but they barely gave me any money and didn't even go to the gift shop.

Yeah, she had hippos and grizzlies (I think it was) as they're really high quality. When she went into the trade center to show there were some up that were like 4k! :O

I definitely got a loan at one point yesterday on my first zoo to kind of help out of the bankruptcy bit.. and hired extra workers. (I also had one quit.... Lol)

But yeah, I decided to give it another go last night and starting fresh today after watching some tutorial/tips videos. Lol

Dont start off too big... My first run was also too ambitious.

Keep it small. I had 2 enclosures of 1500 m2 with the Ostriches and Nile Lizards.
Every staff building except the quarantine building and 3 vendors... (1 staff each and 3 sales staff)
That's it. Make sure that every building/vendor is connected.

I had more money but you need a steady cashflow. When you have a steady cashflow, add a new enclosure.. (and repeat)
Maybe will take a while but a steady growth is more managable. At 1 point I could build continuesly ..

Currently at +900k cash and +12k nature credit.
