This always happen. Right before a well-announced major update comes a bunch of people will get in their 'game is dying OMG' topics before it may be too late. Then everything will be happy for 12 minutes, until some controversial thing is found. We then start massive 200+ rage topics arguing back and forth, until the storm dies down and we get back to timeless classics like grinding and griefing.

This has happened before, and will shall happen again. Amen.

I haven't seen a single interesting video blog about Elite recently.
Truth be told there is not much to talk about about ED anymore.
Devs hardly talk and the game seems be in decline.

Anyway I have killed of all the subscriptions regarding ED.

That's good for forum balance. Like many others, I cried myself to sleep last night after reading the OP.

The game is just boring. Once you have landed on a moon and gone from one station to another you have seen most of the game. Add to that the excruciating grind = Alt F4.
