Yes. That would make this thread a complaint against complainers against complainers. Anyways, point is, most of the complaints act at least as some sort of player feedback and criticism. Some are good, others not as much, but equally important. Without feedback and discussion among players the game would not be half as interesting as it is (though thats not saying very much). In other words, it might be occasionally unpleasant, but everyone's complaints are worthy of being heard and discussed, even if some of them (and there will be) are about things of no import to the majority of players.

Fair enough. Criticism is important, but truth be said, some of the complaints are exhausting to flip through. Maybe if people weren't so over the top with it. Sometimes I feel getting pulled in by the miserable attitude and have to take a break from the forums. All in all though, the people here are still cool.

people dont want critisism to damage the funding, they try and hush you and deny it to themselves but it does damage the games future more.
ultimatley the anticomplainers seem to be quirky in the mind and use very bad analogies, the devs must not listen to them in the interest of the games future itself, they would have bug free grinding over gameplay.

So it is okay for people to complain, but not okay for others to take them to task for the accuracy of their complaints? Or the frequency of their complaints. Or the fact the often it is just a meaningless complaint with no thought of a solution or remedy?
So when I see, for the third time in a day, someone start a post that he just lost his anaconda when he didn't have enough insurance, and the game is broken and FD have no idea and he is never going to play the game again - I should just nod knowingly and refrain from calling him a blithering idiot?

no no no, what you just said isn't a complaint about complaining, but rather discussing the complaint itself. what im talking about is people who complain about complainers in general, there have been a number of threads like that lately

There's nothing to do once you reach Elite/get an Anaconda/insert your own goal state here.
Powerplay is a grindfest, powers are indistinguishable, PP weapons are rubbish.
NPC AI is dumb.
Instancing is erratic.
The background simulation is broken.
Supercruise is boring.
PvP griefers/Mobius Group carebears/Solo grinders ruin it for everyone.
Exploration/Mining/Trading are shallow and boring.
The servers are unreliable.
Player comms are weak.
There isn't enough player-owned content.

I'd have a complaints sub-forum, personally. I'd have one thread for each of the common complaints, and a sticky post at the top of the forum, stating something like "if you have any of the following complaints, find an existing thread and add your post to it", followed by the above list.

1/ Its not a good idea.
2/ There are still many sources of farts in the room.
3/ The smell never goes away.

Oh lord...I got lost on the third or fourth? complaint or complainer...now I'm confused...seriously...bug reporting...weird glitches and things ...I get...complaining<sigh> over getting killed or some in game mishap (unless due to bug)...probably shouldn't really be posted...I know this is gonna show my age...but I've played this from wire frame up...really loved elite plus...and elite frontier...though that killed the eyes compaired to now...wing commander, privateer, xwing,tie series(all of em)...even evechron when there was nothing...and there are a few I didn't name...one being some kinda techno organic ship that grew when it leveled up...cant remember the name...decent story...even had a few mods to it...oh and the x series...anyone remember being able to undo a mistake or glitch short of going back to a save game earlier....
course then there is the whining...I mean constructive criticism about griefers and such to....have to agree with song...
and I have the fix for griefers and such...get the Bounty hunting community to go cash in on the guys ...eventually they will be broke and maybe be good boys and girls...almost bet that there are more ppl out there just wanting to have fun than be a problem...and number over come stupid any day lol...
