Titan question

Before heading out to check out the Titans, does anyone have suggestions for hardpoints?
I'm mainly interested in picking the scabs off their backs for materials rather than combat.

Mining laser, Beams, Missiles maybe? I was thinking about taking my trusty research Orca.

A beam laser will get you mats off the Titan, no need for abrasion blasters or mining equipment. Engineer for thermal vent and it will keep you cool/ unseen as well. And that Orca should do well, cold running is helpful around the maelstrom.

I heard that an abrasion blaster will give more materials. Have not confirmed this myself though.

Collector limpets will help too... as the materials stay close to the surface.

But OP: just note, as soon as you hit it, it'll get angry. You'll need tank.

There was a time when using two AB's yielded more material than one. I think it was back in good ol' days of Boran.
Not sure if that's still a thing or it was a bug. Haven't really mined since TBO.

I'll see how I do and try to report back...

The enhanced ax multi-cannons are fine so maybe all weapons are suitable for this type of work. Would be nice to know if additional materials can be extracted so thanks for investigating
