Some of you may or may not know about mods to extend the warthog stick length.
Why?
Longer stick = more precision
Longer stick = smoother motion. (slowly move a warthog stick and it sticks a bit with resistance)
Some of the mods also set the stick at an angle offset. Most use screws or are permanent.
This is ideal mostly for center stick use, and reduces fatigue.
I love the offset idea. hate current implementations. It should be an easy user adjustment and give the choice of standard or not.
I love the idea. But most tutorials and kits are A) plastic/cheap. B) complicated. C) In other countries. D) Look bad. E) offer less features
I live in the USA and dont like the idea of paying for something that takes months to get here from overseas where they want a wire transfer. Most of those kits are expensive $80+ and then shipping costs... and even plastic!
I want something nice for my $400 stick.
Something that looks nice and feels nice.
not to mention works great.
TLDR
I spent some time designing a 2 piece metal extension that requires no modification of the actual stick. You can change the angle of the stick without any tools in a matter of seconds.
no screws.
no plastic.
solid.
clean/aesthetic.
Im settling for 7.5 cm Any length is possible though 3.5cm+.
Currently emailing a few metal machining people in my area for costs.
But is any1 interested in also joining in on getting an extension?
After I make mine I will, of course post pictures. however if a few people are interested I can have a handful made in preparation.
