Newcomer / Intro TM Warthog

What USB port is the TM Warthog meant to be plugged into? 2.0 or 3.0. I've been searching for an answer but I get every answer but the one I'm looking for. Any help is appreciated.

It kind of does, though.
I mean, it's not Saitek, so you don't really experience button ghosting and axis travel glitches when the joystick is starved of power, but I'd still recomment using USB 3.0 or a powered hub (a good one!*) if possible.

*beware the cheap powered hubs - their ports usually aren't isolated so the input USB (the one between the hub and PC) is also powered which is a baaad thing. If you plug it into a laptop, you might kill it entirely and even on desktop you can kill the USB port it's been plugged into or the mox chip.

Come to think of it, the motherboard I'm using now doesn't even have USB 2.0 ports on the back panel (well, it does have internal connectors, but I'm not using those), and the one before that only had 2 which I used for m/kb AFAIR. But I've had my Warthog since 2012 or so, so I'm pretty sure there must have been at least one motherboard where I had it plugged into an USB 2.0 port and never noticed a difference.
