Some noteworthy information about Gilya... Besides the rare goods, they are a refinery/high tech station, so you might be able to pick up items such as, Performance Enhancers, Consumer Technology or Land Enrichment Systems and sell them at Diso.

Although I have yet to see a high supply in Gilya.

I've just returned from Gilya. The "Signature Weapons" are illegal in Federation and Alliance, although Diso has a black market. They are OK in Orrere and Leesti. I got 6t (5+1+blank), although the "Rare Commodities List" thread says the max can be 7t.

I got more problems being interdicted at the other end than I do at Diso. I seriously tried to get interdicted at Diso for some bounty and failed!

Going by Leesti first on the return trip to pick up goods in Diso, is not a bad idea, considering George Lucas station in Leesti, sells 2 types of rare items. A bit more creds is always welcome.
Heck, can even visit Lave, Orrere and I think 1 more system in the cluster upthere, make a 1+ million profit in Gilya.

Take advantage of the increased rare-Diso Ma Corn capacity at Diso while you can! The increased allotment will expire on June 15th.

It is the best beginners/low investment opportunity to make money right now, You can take advantage with a Hauler, Adder, Cobra(good), Type-6 (better), or Asp(best). You want a ship with the longest jump range possible and able to hold up to 50 tons of Diso Ma Corn. The maximum amount corn you can buy is 50 tons.

Go to Diso - Dock at Shifnal Port - Buy all the Diso Ma Corn you can hold (360cr/ton, max 50 tons) - Pick ANY system at least 140 LY away (no further than 160ly) - Sell for 13-15,000cr profit/ton. - Head back to Diso EMPTY and repeat.

You can make up to 775,000cr profit for 50 units of corn. Depending on your jump range and fuel scoop class/rating you can make a round trip in about 15-18 minutes. Piracy isn't much of a problem since you'll be coming back empty. Now you could go to the handful of neighboring systems and gather more rares but those routes are heavily pirated and the additional time added to the trip is a negligible boost to profit vs time.

ProTip: If you do get interdicted by a pirate. LISTEN and comply with the demands and 98% of the time you'll come out alive. If the demand is unreasonable, try negotiating. Less profit is better death.

Thank you commander. I used this in my Cobra (44t) to accumulate about 14 million today. About 650,000 credit a trip. Plus a few bounties. My route was Hach > Nuakea > Diso then back to Hach for my 650,000. Didn't fuel scoop for the extra 4t. Really didn't feel like selling all my equipment to add more jump distance. I have been bringing back Combat stabilizers since the Gilya Signature Weapons need to go to the black market anyway
