I just started up Elite : Dangerous to check out how my new skin for the sidewinder and the eagle if i was lucky enough to manage to get there.
And as i looked at the system map i saw that the eagle was sitting in a spacestation some 100ls away from me.

I would be very lucky if i actually was gonna play Elite
Sadly i cant due to that my only available computer at this time is a 2008 Macbook pro which barely runs Elite trough parrallels and in theory does not support Direct X11.
But it runs a little faster than in beta 3, which is awesome done by frontier!

I just really wanted to post this to show that things like this can happen.

I feel your pain, as I'm playing via Parallels too, albeit on a 2008 Mac Pro. It's just about playable, a bit laggy, but any attempt at viewing a system map crashes the VM. And there are a few planets/stations which I can't get to because any approach causes a crash. Picked up quite a few fines from that!

I've found that as from early beta 3 (which is when I started playing) it's become more (relatively) playable as time has gone on. Hopefully I'll be picking up a new iMac care of Black Friday so I can finally Bootcamp...

A friend of mine started in LHS 3447 and his feagle is in LHS 1914 Heisenberg Terminal and another friend of mine started in LHS 1914 with his freagle in Heisenberg.

Is that where they make them? ;)
