If non-payment of debt is the greatest shame in the Empire, then surely the arbitrary changing of a debt's payment terms to make its repayment impossible must be the greatest crime in the Empire. The levels of treason being revealed here astound me. Non-payment of debt is the greatest shame one can bring upon a household.

Who is speaking for the Emperor? Certainly not himself. These Imperial CMDRs who oppose the righteous Patreus in his selfless defence of the Empire are unwitting traitors to the very same Imperial tradition they seek to defend.
The current Imperial family is finished. There isn't a rightful or competent heir who can ascend the throne without causing disharmony amongst us. The last thing we want is Empire wide civil war, especially with the current leadership turmoil in the Federation. Let Patreus and Aisling make union so we can compromise between old and new blood, between tradition and progress.
Patreus instils strong emotions in all; friend, foe and even kinfolk. This is to be expected for any powerful individual possessed of destiny and purpose. Rise above your petty envy and fear to embrace the future.
Or the agonies of civil war are going to befall the Empire.
I hardly call a man who can only bully weak independents a righteous man, or even anything close to a proper Imperial citizen. They may not be one of us, but that is no reason to act without honor. That this man is one of the major faces of the Empire is a shame to us all.
Greetings fellow imperial commanders.
First post on forums, so i'm here trying to catch up with late news, and something is bugging me.
While Galnet News indicates that princess Arissa is the senator from Facece (see news from 16th of april for instance), in game information on the system states Blaine is the senator in charge there. Could somebody clarify? Thx.

Patreus and Aisling lack any sense imperial decency, both are treading the lines of treason, and you should be ashamed for defending their barbaric honorless ways and for your comments about the Imperial family. Thats all.
Pray tell, what exactly is Imperial decency?
We are at a crossroads of criticality the likes of which we have never seen before.
There is no eligible or competent heir to the throne. We have to decide what to do with the minimum amount of destruction as possible. The blood of the Duvals runs in Aisling and the blood of Imperial ambition runs in Patreus. This compromise is our salvation and you should back it.
You're not going to look too decent when the baying crowds hoist you up after the Federation conquer your home world. We will be weakened by a civil war. It's probably inevitable now but we should seek to minimise it's impact. Those two Federal vote junkies will exploit any opportunity to acquire power.
