Newcomer / Intro To craft higher grade blueprints you need enough engineer reputation

Hi,
Felicity Farseer has overcharged my power plant to G1.
Now I am at Marco Qwent and I want to overcharge my power plant to G4.
How do I do that, there is the message "To craft higher grade blueprints you need enough engineer reputation and to have completed all lower grade blueprints of the same type".
Thanks in advance

3 rolls of G1 mods will raise your rep to 2, 3 rolls of G2 mods will raise your rep to 3, etc.

Basically taking one of your components all the way from G1 to G5 will get you the lvl 5 rep with an engineer.
Naturally you can also reaise your rep by donating whatever it is each engineer needs, but it's better to simply find a throwaway mod, ideally with low cost when comes to materials and do just that.

This is the problem when switching engineers early on when you haven't built up any rep with them. You've got your PP to G1 with Farseer, but because you have no rep with Gwent, you can't just continue with him to G2 and upwards. You can either try selling commodities to his base to get you enough rep to continue engineering with him or engineer another module with him to get enough rep. TBH, the materials for G1 are easy to come by so you may as well just remove the engineering from your PP and start from scratch with Gwent.

I just spent a weekend early on touring all the engineers I had unlocked, raising them all to G3 using exactly what is outlined above - doing some crappy mods with disposable materials like phosporous and iron (I had loads of each). Once they're at G3 I started thinking about what I really needed, and also invitations came in from other engineers. The early engineering wasn't really geared to one meta build as I didn't have the mats, reputation or game knowledge to make it really work. The engineering grind can be quite fun and is a very interesting aspect of gameplay but there really isn't a shortcut to it, in terms of endgame or even balanced engineering it really isn't early game content. It's about the one thing remaining which isn't, so I think that's a great thing! Engineering is like my last remaining safe space within the game as it requires thought and patience.
