To Find my Sister's Star!

Greetings Fellow Commanders,

In the Night Sky, a visible star is named after my sister.

Name of the star
Rhiannon Joanna
Registration Date
21 Mar 1991
Coordinates
RA: 10h33m13.9s DEC: 40°25m32.0s

(This star is registered under http://www.star-register.com/ as 61517-1453-6193405)

I've done some research to look into where this star actually is, and I believe the star is referring to HD 91312

After some searching, I have found the in game version.

It has the name Andbephi, located 112.82LY away from SOL.

So, I have the plan to fly out there and claim that system.. somehow.
On Sunday, I shall stream my Progress, attempting to Map out as much of the Route as I can. Possibly i will go after some Bounties, or fight Pirates who get in my Way.

You are all invited to watch at http://www.twitch.tv/realofoxtrot from Noon GMT

With all respect - such things are vanities and not recognized by any astronomical authority :(

It's a bit like buying bits of the Moon, or buying a tree in Glencoe and saying you then have the title Laird :(

I got one named after my wife!! It's called:

The Death Star.

Oi! That wasn't very respectful at all actually. Wanting to name a star after a loved one isn't vain.
Putting other people down is definitely a form of self appraisal though :p

Well you could buy a "diamond ring" and an expensive diamond ring.
There was just another post with someone who also named a star, but had a HIP designation. Sorry that I can't be of more help.

If he can find some standard designation, it could help.
