to Frontier, when will you add something new or just plan details of Elite?

I know it's the new year holiday, but I was waiting for 4 newsletters and there is nothing new about Elite's future plan.

Will you give us some update plan this week? I am expecting the planet landing, more ships and more dynamic and interesting market, massive combat with storyline, and maybe the player manufacture in the future lol.

Maybe it's too much. But you know even X series can do those things. I know you guys have a very big plan, just tell us little more details about it ok?

As said. It's the holidays and I don't think they're back till the 5th anyhow. But otherwise I do agree with you. Don't need specifics personally, just a notice here and there they're working on stuff. I expect something to be shown in the next newsletter. And we already know Wings is the next step they are developing. I just do hope they really expand on the mission system, adding more chained-quests and improving the factions system, breathing more life into it etc etc. Always looking forward to more ships though too!

Just fyi the planetary landing expansion isnt expected until, at the earliest, next November / December. I know that they are hoping to have the wings and improved social tools some time late this month. Just keep your hat on, the games been out less than 3 weeks.

This is why I don't do kickstarters or pay companies to do their beta testing for them. Developers always think they can do more than they actually have the time and capital to do. Having done my best to stay away from any info about this game until Dec 10th, and then doing my research on exactly what I was buying, I am not disappointed in the least with what it is. Lesson learned.

I've had friends ask me if they should buy the game, as they have time to play over the holidays. My answer right now is... Play something else and wait.

A large part of my reticence is that major features are missing, and there isn't really clear official feature roadmap. It doesn't need to be a schedule.. Just an official list of what is going to be implemented in approximate order.

i think it's necessary after the offline fiasco.

Without kick starter this game wouldn't have been made at all.

What do you mean by most features were due at launch? What features? Walking around station? Planetary landings? These were always going to be dlc at a later date.

Because I paid to play a multiplayer game and I am not, that's the hurry.

Because FD did frequent update when in the beta and gamma version, then they use the same gamma version as 1.0 to release it and no big update for 4 weeks. I just want to know some news, not the real playable content.
