WOW! Awesome journey man. You make me want to park my T-6, buy an ASP and go exploring.
How come you only got 22% in all that time? When I was using an ASP, it cost me a fortune because of the amount of damage that it received when I supercruised to the Voyager 2 (isn't that about 500 million Ls?), then I went to Alpha Centauri and did the .22LY supercruise to Hutton Orbital (Proxima Centauri). The cost of the repairs was so great, it made me return to trading in my T-6. I was/am planning to do exploring in an Orca. :/
I think he means 22% hull, not wear and tear.
I'm thinking of doing a lap of the galaxy sometime. When I sold my data from Sagi' A and back (pre 1.1) after a couple of hours I thought there must be a better way, I found a utility to move and click my mouse and just let it run. I think it took about 7 hours in all.
voice attack can do that job. I haven't touched the exploration since 1.1 version so I'm not sure how long it would take me to do it now. one of the commanders is doing a lap around the Milky way https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=109837&p=1706406#post1706406
And seriously - I haven't figured out how to pay for the wear and tear. when I got back I paid some thousand of credits and I haven't noticed any fee for that.
