TO many Federal security service ships.....

its anoying.. you try to do some bounty hunting and after 3-8 minuts the zone is swarming with 6-8 Police ships...

I EVEN TRYED ANARCHY SYSTEMS

I EVEN TRYED ROID BELTS and not only nav beacons...

you do your first 2-3 bounty kills and the first group of 3-4 police ships trys to steal your bountys

EVEN IN ANARCHY SYSTEM
thats total ......
if you are concerned players making to much money bounty hunting find some realistic way

is total .... that an ANARCHY SYSTEM is swarming with police ships so swarms of it drop in on any location the player is after max 4 minuts....

what are you talking about? i killed hundreds of clean ships in an anarchy system and no police ever bothered me...wait, you don't mess just outside station don't you? nobody likes when you are blowing things on their front yard, just fly to nav beacon and have your fun there without any problems ;)

i only attack bounty targets...

WANTED

i dont even pirat in anarchy systems i know i wouldn´t get bounty doing it

and im surly not hunting in front of an station...

i have tryed 8 systems so far....1 of it was anarchy lp-somehwhat

using nav beacon ... roid fields and so on ..

everytime i kill up the 3 ships with bountys (WANTED) the police drops in in masses and ruins me any further bounty hunting in that spot

its anoying having 4-8 police ships shooting everything with an bounty on it!!!

AND THAT EVEN HAPPENS IN ANARCHY SYSTEM where police shouldnt be present at all

THATS what im talking about

I agree. The biggest scourge to a bounty hunter is actually the swarms of security ships that show up... And I also find it weird that these ships appear in anarchy systems.

Its not even so much that they kill steal my bounties, it adds some competition and interaction... But the fact they tend to be f-ing stupid and will fly RIGHT into your line of fire and give you a bounty (turning them all against you) but they can also shoot you with absolutely no consequence.

Fortunately, my C2 multi's can shred a ships hull fast enough that as soon as the shields are knocked out, I can do a single pass and claim the bounty, but after 20-30 minutes of this I've noticed they even have a tendency to go hostile all at once for no apparent reason. When that happens I generally cruise out and back in and that fixes it but its still obnoxious...

again, i killed hundreds of ships in different anarchy systems and no police ever attacked me, and with clean i meant that target is clean in anarchy system but has bounty in nearby systems, so EVEN when i kill clean targets there are NO police, have no clue why they love you so much, unless you are wanted there, then they should attack you ;)

in which systems that happens? ;)

Yeah, there's definitely way too many. It gets even worse when they zip in front of you as you're blasting a wanted ship. :(

I don't know if it helps, but maybe turning off Crime reporting will help.

I believe every time you shoot someone or someone shoots at you with Crime reporting on, it calls for security.

Hmmm, this sounds like it may be worth a try!

Fine idea mate. Lets hope it works as I am sick of the cops showing up when I am merely plying my bounty hunter trade.

I think I recall reading it was a known issue that feds are in places they shouldn't be (I.E. patrolling asteroid belts in anarchy systems).

Forger, my experience is drastically different than yours. I hunt wanted ships and after I blow up 1 or 2 the Feds start attacking me. Everywhere I go there are swarms of fed ships. Even in anarchies

Same here get this all the time. No kill warrant stuff either they are wanted in local.

Yep bounty hunting for local bountys too

i just had bounty rewards worth of 70k again as 2 ships where heading right for me ..

1 eagle .. clean

right behind a anaconda clean..

i was tunring to the nav beacon again to search for the next bountys as the anaconda opened fire on me ...

i was shocked . only flying an sidwinder . i was giving all speed i could get and trying to evade ... it still showed CLEAN but it also showed federal security service...

i had 0.0 bounty!!!!

i made it out with 18% ..was farming in Aulin.... jumped to i-bootis
docked there and tuned in my rewards ... also checked my bounty .. it 0.. i had to pay 0

why the ...... was the security vessel attacking me???

it was aulin nav beacon

Same here. I tried my hand at some bounty hunting in some USSs, and every one of them I've got a single wanted ship, and like three or so fed fighters. So I look, he's wanted, says right there. So I open up on him, and suddenly everyone gets unhappy with me (or sometimes two of the three feds). I've tried waiting for them to attack, they just fly around scanning me. Wait too long, and the wanted guy gets bored and jumps out (never attacks anyone, in case this is a needed thing). And to make matters worse, half the time now I'm wanted in the system, so I have to sneak back to a local station or jump out to clear that fine. What is the point? There's a lot of disconnects here.

Yep same here. Take one or two wanteds out and feds show up and start taking the wanteds out in front of you stealing your cash.

Maybe the crime reporting thing is whats connected to the bounty scans you do? Gonna test.

Also i got mad after i killed a wanted ship. Noticed he dropped something and scooped it up, and of course the feds was there and scanned me...... Fine for having stolen gods. :D Dang it. Im making way too little cash with my viper at nav beacons. Like 2-3 ships in 1 hour giving between 300-10,000 CR (high bounty rare). I need to get better at finding wanteds.

I agree with OP as well. This is supposed to be 'vast space' your chances of seeing a cop as soon as a crime is committed should be about the same as if you were in the middle of bumfluk Egypt.

-Not very likely-

The way it is now the cops outnumber all other travelers out in space by a wide margin. Not immersive (as this game seems to love that term) and it's not very realistic either. Not without a doughnut base anywhere near the area especially. Trying to get a shot on a wanted criminal while 3 or 4 cops are weaving around directly in the way trying to steal your kills isn't fun, it's simply annoying.

They need to tone the cop spam thing way way down.

Well that adds an interesting layer to bounty hunting!

It makes sense though, a sustained period of energy releases at a specific spot would show up on a scammer/radar just as large heat sources do ... so any cop worth their salt would head out and investigate.

I say keep the invading cops :)

PS: My preferred trade is bounty hunting!

But this isn't new news. There have forum reports of this since at least 2.03. I play primarily solo and private group with both reports off. One example, recently I went to a RE site. Fired on a resolved wanted cobra, had to bug out when 7 ships flicked red after ship destruction. All security services, I had no friendly fire, no fines or bounties.
