Geraldo, you did not last long. I am so so so sorry.
Are you calling us fake players?
How untactful! I bleed, sleep, eat, just like you. I can love. I can cry. I can laugh. I am real! I'm real, I tell you!
I can't be certain, but even if you are flying less than 100. Destroying another ship results in a bounty. The OP said the Sidey waited inside the station and began to crash until his ship was destroyed and they suddenly became wanted.
Something similar has happened to me a few months back at Shinrarta. I was taking off from the launchpad in my Corvette and there was an explosion and suddenly my ship was wanted and destroyed by the station. I believe a heavily damaged Sidey or eagle was waiting for my ship to take off and got nudged to death. All he has to do is sit 20m above the Corvette and wait. Remember, there is no access to the radar until clear of the pad so it's impossible to see if anything is waiting without using the external camera.
My Corvette still had its landing gear extended and was still lifting vertically so there was no way I was in violation of the speed limits.
I sent a report to FDEV and the promptly refunded my credits.
This should be tested in beta. If you going slow and a ship rams you and die you should not get wanted or killed.
Sorry mate, but Navya works for me now, under her Real name : Mei Osborne.
She neede a break, and thought this would be the best for both of you.
She sends her regards.
Cheers Cmdr's

The way a person chooses to treat others reflects upon themselves and will rightly cause their character to be judged, whether positively or negatively. The medium through which the interaction takes place is irrelevant.

Well, in fairness I'll say that 80% of open cmdrs that I meet outside hotspots are fine upstanding fellow-members of the pilots federation. We may not always have the same goals and sometimes those goals are in conflict so we might exchange a little fire all in good fun but they are mostly decent folks and it rarely results in a kaboom provided we both play a little smart.
Around any kind of hotspot or within a single jump of the starter systems, I'm afraid that percentage really doesn't look quite so pretty. There's more lulzbunnies and the others are more likely to want to count the "win" as sending you to the rebuy screen rather than driving you off.
