Just 300ly from Sol having set off to Sag A in my Rift back in November (got there on 20th December) but I've put my neck out so no more Rift for me at the moment.

Don't want to spoil the moment by returning to the bubble in 2D so I've parked up the Asp and I'm going to wait until I'm better.

There really is no going back once you have tried VR. :)

I headed out to Colonia in December just using the Rift.. It's not something I would recommend. I fell asleep in the Rift numerous times. 2D for the journey home and watch tv at the same time.

I left Sol on 1/7/2016 headed for beagle point in my rift. I am now (as of today) 19klys from colonia on the return trip. that's a solid year of scanning in deeeeeeeeeep space. cant wait to sell all this data. when all is said and done, I will have made the entire trip in VR.

Holy crem...hope you get a wingman or two to help with the flight in..just in case.

Fell asleep in mine one night and way I woke up it took a few minutes to figure out what the heck i was doing, overshot my destination by a few hours.
