To the Core & Back - Now I'm ELITE

Returned from my 3 1/2 month trip to the core & back last night. Started selling off data & 4 hours later I'm ELITE!!!

Sold just over 1 Mil of data from this trip to get from Ranger to ELITE & still got a dozen more pages left.

Congratulations... planning on making my third attempt to reach the core soon (I've had to turn around for one reason or the other on the previous two attempts). Hopefully once I get back I'll have finally ranked to Elite myself.

Gz to you. I'm only 5kly out yet, 20k and the return still to go. Will take much longer than 3 months. work restricts my playtime, and I'm moving on economy routes. 800 systems already visited.

In my experience, there are lots of neutrons and BH to be found either high up or low down from the galactic plane, but equally, there are more non scoopable stars in the same regions. Good hunting.

edit: just looked at the pics, which answered my question. In any case, congrats!

I just completed a small trip which covered 260 systems and took a week (I picked up an unwanted 19.5K bounty which lasts until tomorrow). I only ventured 1400ly from home but around 90% of systems after 1000ly were undiscovered. I made just short of 6M from the trip. I didn't feel like I went anywhere as I can come home within an hour. Now at 71% Pioneer with another 29M required to become Elite. I am going to rank up in Trade and Combat before my next expedition as I want to really enjoy my Elite making trip.
