I had only just got my Cobra today, and earlier was about to start making some decent coin hauling silver, only to lose my ship and a full load of silver to an in-station mishap. Never made it past the mail slot. Lose everything, currently in moderate debt.
C'est la vie. I figure in-game some stations work an insurance scam figuring who is going to go into debt if they lose their ship (and confiscating the drifting cargo as well) turning it into some kind of money making racket for them.
