I just wanted to post a thank you. I don't know who the anonymous donor was but you have my deepest gratitude. I just received in the mail today a official white ELITE mug AND a official T-shirt (the load new commander one). Someone went to the expense of buying the mug & T-shirt then paying to ship it all to the USA. I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate everything everyone has done for me here. I enjoy coming here everyday and reading the latest post. I enjoy writing in the Thargoid & Fer-De-Lance thread. (haven't done that since HS, hehe) I actually found I enjoy it more than I anticipated. I look forward to when the Standard Beta launches and I can begin to enjoy that as well.

FOR EVERYONE HERE, THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT ALL OF YOU HAVE DONE! :D​

OK here is my mug collection. I won the black mug (see I fixed it Mobius ;p) in a contest by Mobius & Psykokow AND a poster which I framed. I'll put the poster at the bottom of this post. I've had the Star Trek mugs for over 20 years. Yes there is coffee in the new mug. I am using it right now as I post. :D

I have no clue at all who it is. Opps Mobius I meant black. I'll go back and fix that. Sorry I'm a old fart, I'm allowed, hehe. And yep I'm a for real yankee. But my moms's side of the family is originally from Wales. Dad's side is from Holland. Of course both were a very, very long time ago. :D I know I sound like a Brit sometimes. I've played so many years online (since 1994) with people worldwide. But a LOT of them were either Brits or Aussies. Oi. :)

I have that T-shirt too! It arrived today, quite impressed with the quality - I just hope it washes ok and doesn't shrink or deform.

PS - Your forum pic shares an uncanny likeness to you (aside from the raving lunatic bit) :)

Hi Doctor, so glad you're happy.
Regarding the picture of you taking a photo of yourself, may I offer an idea?
Point the camera at yourself and use a mirror to see the screen on the camera rather than point the camera into a mirror.

Alien I would but the screen on the camera is broken. It has been for years. The camera works fine but I can't change any of the settings or see the screen. :eek: Oh and I've taken pictures that way before and my arms end up straight out in front of me. I already look bad enough but then I look like a zombie or something. :D I just wanted people to see the T-shirt. I thought about wearing a bag on my head like the unknown comic or something. :p

Small tip re: mirrors & camera screens:
You could always mirror the picture in some graphics/paint/photo editing program before uploading... :)
