To whomever designed the Mexican Conservation Park

Playing through the DLC career scenarios and I was really impressed with the work in the first scenario in terms of the overall zoo decor, that entrance is gorgeous.

But...the 2nd scenario just blows everything else I've seen out of the water. Please pass along my praise and appreciation to whomever did the design for the Mexican Conservation Park.

Every aspect of it is so detailed and the entire zoo, from the habitats to the pathing, to the buildings and covering to the terrain work...it all just interconnects into one whole in a way I couldn't even imagine being able to accomplish. Simply amazing work. This dlc is worth the price tag just to see it, imo.

Thanks to the whole team who worked on the Arctic pack, but special thanks to the person(s) who designed that zoo. I just got silver and am starting on gold and I'm almost ashamed of the poor efforts on my part as I've grown the zoo...even trying, I just haven't managed to do the original framework justice.

I finally got around to getting a gold star on the first scenario and started up the second last night. I was having the same thoughts as I was looking at the zoo trying to figure out where and how to expand. The hippo habitat got me right off the start, I spent some time just staring at it.

Still working on bronze, just need to start the arctic section. Maybe I'll keep going with that today since it's cold and snowing outside.

I'm working on it right now! One goal left to get the gold, just have to finish converting the whole zoo to renewable energy and it will be done. I'm mostly converted already, so honestly the only reason I"m not finished is because I'm enjoying the zoo. LOL

Crazy how popular the polar bears are, in both of the new scenerios the number of visitors in the zoo massively exploded once the polar bear habitat went in. For the first scenerio it was such a rapid explosion of visitors that I wasn't ready for it and happiness plummeted for a few years until I got things in place to support the larger crowds. For the second...I was more ready as I anticipated and had most of the needed shops, etc. in ahead of time.

Hope you enjoy the scenario as much as I have! Really want another DLC now; I like doing these career maps.

Still working on silver, though I did the jump to renewable energy early. But...
It took me far too long to realize that whoever made the zoo placed wooden platforms around the zoo where you need to put the new energy sources.

I really hope Frontier continue with the career mode on future DLC's. I know from the looks of it we're in the minority when it comes to playing through it, Steam global achievements still show 1.1% of players have completed the career to at least a bronze standard.

Yah, and only like .4% did gold on all of them. Someone in another thread pointed out that a lot of people probably go back and forth between career and other game modes rather than doing all the career stuff first though and said they are still in progress on getting the career mode done. I know I spent like 250 hours total before I had gold on all of them, and I didn't move to the next scenario until getting gold on each one. Game hasn't been out all that long, so a lot of people might be doing the scenarios and just not done yet.

And I agree about those wooden platforms. I wondered at the start what the two raised ones in the middle of the House of Giants habitats were for at the start....I'm glad I left them there, because as soon as it was time to go green energy it dawned on me that they were for solar panels.
I actually knew what the ones on the ground scattered about were for right away when I saw them, because I do the same thing when designing a new zoo. I mark spots for future solar panels and transport ride stations, to make sure I don't build over the spots with something else.

Gold is a special category of players lol. I just did bronze for the most part, only 4 or 5 golds and a silver. One day I'll go back but I accidentally saved over one of annoying Myers scenarios and just kind of stopped going for gold.

I haven't even started a franchise yet, for wanting to do all the scenarios. I took a break from the base scenarios to work on the new arctic ones and the first one I'm slowly working on the gold. I'm excited to see the second one on seeing how beautiful everyone thinks it is! They're all so magnificent.

Agree with the OP, this might be my favourite park. My indoor arctic habitat buildings look clunky next to the beauty of the giant house and reptile building but they at least made me attempt something interesting in construction so it wasn't too embarrassing.

Got silver and just need to house my polar bears for gold. Will have to wait until after Christmas.

I'm loving scenario mode and pleased I'm not alone. I hope they continue with future DLC as well.
