Tobii eye tracking stopped working after upgrading computer

I just dropped in a new B650 AORUS ELITE V2 motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7800 X3D and 32 gig of DDR 5 6000 ram and got everything up and running with no real issues.

Except for the Tobii eye tracker. I have mine set so it does the windows hello and logs me in on startup. This worked, but the as soon it got me past windows login the lights went out and the Tobii game hub said that there wasn't an eye tracker present. I know when this happens all you have to do is run troubleshooter found in the Tobii Experience and it will work.

Except it didn't this time, but I disconnected the Tobii and reconnected and it worked. I the has to re-run the calibration. It won't work in Elite for some reason, the settings are all there in both the Tobii game hub and Elite, but nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Is there a setting in elites options for enabling eye tracking?
Like the setting for enabling VR headset (hmd ingame name)

Sort of... I checked it, it is set. When I came back live after the install, I had to fix my Razer Orbweaver. The Synapse program wasn't sending the profile changes to the controller. Fortunately, all I had to do is sign out/in and it started working. I tried t find something similar with Tobii but couldn't.

I assume that you have enabled Freetrack in Gamehub for ED?

I just had the same issue when swapping to a different user on the same computer, and that was the issue.

When I booted up this evening the eye tracker turned on, then off. I ran the trouble shooter again and had to move the cable to a new USB port to get the troubleshooter to find it. Once I did that, it started working and when I went into the game it was tracking. Problem solved. I am worried that it keeps needing to run the troubleshooter to get it to work. It's plugged into a USB C 3 port like on the old motherboard.

You could try reseating the USB header if tat's how it's attached to the mobo.
