Dear Commanders,
I finally got my Eye Tracker from Tobii Stealseries. And I fly via Saitek X52pro.
Since I own the tracker I was no more flying
I do not get things running I like. I had to deinstall all my Saitek products. Happily I could backup and restore my old profile used for ED2H.
The problems I am aware off as someone who has not so much experience is that I have to edit my Custom.1.8.binds via editor tool from Windows. Else the tracker is not recogniced in Elite despite it seems to work?! I can view and gaze arround in ockpit just by eye movement. But in the bindings it is not recogniced as suggested in the forum here.
So I did the editing manually and entered VJOY:
Okay. If that is all that is needed if it is needed. I use at the moment the latest drivers and ScreenExtension downloadable at Tobii.
That said I read somewhere that it now uses a differen technique. Mh, freetrack?! instead of Vjoy?
So, is the binding no more necessary?
I am confused.
Moreover, since I had to reinstall my X52PRO I think I miss some more settings. I cannot remember but I think to remember that there was something to be done to get the "pinkie" ? Tricker working in Elite? Or the "i" Button?
They seem to be not working at the moment.
I have installed latest drivers and software from Saitek.
I am asking for help since I am getting frustrated and I only want to fly my CObra
