Hi CMDRs!
@mods: please feel free to move this thread if it is not "dangerous" enough or does not fit here..
tltr: After deactivating the EyeX I am not able to free look by joystick nor mouse. Must deactivate EyeX soft- and hardware and must restart ED to free look by joystick again.
I am trying to set up my EyeX controller since a few month now and I don't get it to work in the way I expected. I have already a long and good contact to Tobii support but they tried it with a 4C controller where it seemed to work flawless. Could anybody give me a hint or at least verify my issue with your own EyeX please?
I wanted to use my Tobii EyeX in Elite Dangerous in a way like it is supported in DeusEx or ARMA3. I want to move the field of view with my eyes just a little bit up/down/left/right without rotating my whole "head". Head movement should be done by my XBoxOne controller after pressing right stick and moving right stick like usual. I have set up a smal field of view for the EyeX Invinite Screen software and set right stick press to deactivate Invinite Screen extension. After pressing it EyeX stops working and if I set it up to center it if deactivated it centers also my view. But I am not able to use the normal free look by my joystick now. It does have no reaction to mouse or stick for free look anymore. Untill I shut down ED and restart it with completly deactivated and quited EyeX soft- and hardware.
Since a few updates it does no longer react to the setting to deactivate Invinite Screen extension if I set it to any buttons of my Xbox controller. But it still deactivates if I set it to a key on my keyboard. No idea if this matters.
Are you able to switch your free look input between EyeX and any other device without restarting ED? If so please tell me how!
I am very gratefull for any hints or advices! Thanks for any help.

btw I already tried a Win10 and Win7 installation, a bunch of Tobii versions since 2.x, a Xbox360 and a Xbox one controller, Elite 32 and 64 bit. I have repaired vcredist, I have deinstalled voice attack and restarted without joytokey program. Tried to make a little dance and stomped my feet too.
