Tod McQuinn Bugged??

Dear commanders,

I'm playing ED from the epic games store and I'm fairly new to the game.
Somehow it is impossible for me to unlock Tod McQuinns blueprints and its pretty much a gamebreaker for me.

As you can see commanders, I did all the tasks to unlock grade 1 access as shown in the engineering screen (screenshot 1). When I enter the starport services at the Trophy camp in the Wolf 397 system -> Engineers workshop, everything looks promising as shown in screenshot 2.

However, when I select for example cannons Class 1, all my available blueprints remain locked as shown in screenshot 3.

Can anyone please explain this or what am I missing? I've been looking around for hours and I'm absolutely clueless

Relog and try again in 15 mins. Sometimes the databases for unlocks are not in sync. This can also happen with other unlocks such as system permits.

Why are you looking at 'Browse All' rather than 'Modify Your Modules'? You can't engineer what you don't have fitted. Do you have those modules in your ship?

Oohh.. is that the trick... @Factabulous I thought engineers would let me upgrade every module regardless so the modules become available in the moduleshop at a upgraded level.. Ill try and bring some cannons to McQuinns.. I think you solved my problem, thanks a million commander!

Yeah - you need the modules with you. The only other thing to watch out for is - don't do remote engineering until you have Todd at the maximum G5 level - remote engineering won't make the engineer rank up.
