Newcomer / Intro Today's advice for all of us newcomers

I support this initiative (not that there's anything wrong with that)

I've yet to use either, but I find ship operation one of the most appealing parts of the game and I would not want to miss that by having it automated. But blaze your own!

But i like being able to lock in & auto dock/land/cruise, go to the bathroom, have a quick nap, make some food knowing my ship is slowly doddling to its destination safe and sound in the hands of Auto Dock GLaDOS. The last time I manually left a station I racked up some pretty heavy fines lol Im getting better at landing though! Its that pesky station mail box hatch that hangs me up.

The thing about the automation in our ships is that it is about as smart as cruise control was in cars twenty years ago, so safe and sound when you aren’t there is extremely optimistic.

You do realise you can only use that patronising argument until EDO launches when you dont even need a ship to play the game and its not a 'spaceship simulator'?

Advice for noobs, run a mile from anyone telling you what to do or how to play the game.
Beryllium to Witch Head.
Full assists.

First of all I never use it in the open but if I do it's to tease someone :p

I use docking computer in solo just because I'm lazy :D and I use that dead time to visit water closets, get more Coffee or get more soda water with lightly flavored with pears ;)
