Toggle flight assist

Hi all,

How can I toggle my flight assist, as in change the Hold Input Mode in the ship's Function menu, nothing happens when I push space to change it, and at the moment I'm having to hold down a button to keep FA off. Can't seem to find how to change it though.

In controls bindings you can change how the button works, from hold down to toggle
