Toggle for DSS Overlay

After you finish mapping a planet, the blue overlay remains, making landing annoying. You can disable it by changing cockpit modes, but that seems like overkill. Then I can't even honk until I switch it back again. A simple toggle in the DSS display would be great.
Idea:

• "Overlay On/Off" with a button mapped to switch it.
• Launching a probe will automatically switch it to on.
• An optional setting to automatically switch off the overlay when mapping is 100%.

I seem to recall the overlay fading something like 10 seconds after full scan complete, in which case the persistent overlay is a bug. I could be wrong.

+1 for the third point. When exploring I often don't bother probing as I dont want my view of interesting terrain blocked.

Yeah, its very annoying

It fades when you enter orbit, otherwise it stays, as far as I know.

Yeah, it needs to GTF a short time after mapping, or have a button to switch it off.

Yeah, I know, but it's more of a workaround than a fix. In the process of going from probing a planet to landing and scanning geology, it feels a bit clumsy, design wise, having to switch into combat mode to get a look at the terrain.
