Toggle unpurchased DLC items

Hey there!

Seems to me as if we are slowly moving to DLCs!

Notice the new button "Toggle unpurchased DLC items" next to the filter icon!

So that sets us off to (once again) discussing, what the first DLC will actually be (is there a new hype train to come or do we join the old one again?)

You are waaaay late on that one. We know that DLC is coming for a long time. But what that DLC will be we don't know yet. I personally am not agains paid DLC, we got a lot for Free already. Keep in Mind Planet Coaster is not a full priced Game. So i'm totally on board paying for content. I want more Planet Coaster, and they want to give us more Planet Coaster. And paying them for the effort seems ok in my book.

A few months ago they announced "cosmetic" DLC which sounds similar to the Thrillseeker add-on with golden mascot and hat. But when asked about the cosmetic DLC frontier went silent. When Patch 1.1.4 released they added the DLC toggle in-game and to the workshop, and a lot of people started asking questions. Then when 1.2 released they removed the toggle, and apparently delayed the DLC, but now the toggle is back again.

However, its not the paid part people are concerned about, its the size of each DLC that is a concern. If frontier releases 100 individual scenery items that would be bad, because then we would have to go through and figure out which ones we have or don't have, and which ones we need to access specific blueprints. I think this would be bad for the workshop, splitting up players access to blueprints like that, and I think it would keep people away from buying DLC because many people dislike "microtransactions". It would be much better if frontier kept the # of DLCs to a minimum, but each DLC must be large to keep people on the same page.

Like with RCT3, it had 2 major expansions which were both great. But I never played Wild much because it didn't run well for me. So anytime I downloaded peoples parks in RCT3 I could not view parks containing the Wild content. I'm thinking PC will get several DLC add-ons before frontier ever announces Planet Safari, I just hope they are all valueable with a lot of content

+1 the packs must be of reasonable size vs content. Ive said it before and I'll say it again I will buy some of the DLC but not of I will be paying £5 for a wallset with nothing else (disclaimer - the figure of £5 is plucked from thin air and the content is an example of something I think may come as paid DLC but would hope there is more substance to it)

Call me old-fashioned, but why do we have to manually hide unpurchased stuff at all? If one didn't purchase the DLC, then it shouldn't it be visible in their library in the first place, right?!

The dirty carrot-on-a-stick approach is something EA couldn't resist in the more recent The Sims titles (because it's EA), but I hoped Frontier stood above that.

I think its better to have that button, cause we could see what exactly is inside the DLC. I would also like a button for "no showing DLC content" so when we build content for others we dont need to be looking each piece if its a paid one or not.
Im not against paying for DLCs, I paid WoW for years so DLCs are not my enemies, and PC its being the game that Ive been playing the most (and by a difference) since the update.

And for the OP I think the DLC could be something about water rides, summer is near and we already have winter stuff so it could be that.

(sorry for my English, not my native language)
