Too many game crashes

I have been away from Elite Dangerous for a few months.I have over 4500hrs of past playtime with no crashes at all now i keep getting black screen crashes the latest crash deleted my keybindings and this takes an absolute age to setup,these crashes are making this unplayable.
I have many games on my PC and NONE of them crash...whats going on with Elite Dangerous to make it crash so much?
I have uninstalled and now re-installing to see if this helps.
My system specs:
Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19042) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700F
16GB RAM
1TB SSD
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 Super 8GB

Re-installed now it's getting stuck trying to load the game,10min or longer wait to continue the game even after its launched,i have also validated game files from the ED launcher..c'mon Frontier you are ruining one of my fave games (which NEVER gave me issues before)
Much more of this and i will delete it permanently as it's now totally un-usable.
4500 hours on Elite Dangerous with hardly any crashes now 6 or more per day...Black screen and various coloured "Adder" crashes.
It seems that not only is Odyssey useless....it's also ruined a perfectly playable game!

I totally agree. Performance since Odyssey is hopelessly bad and getting worse in my opinion. It is at the point of being unplayable most of the time.

the moon was fat and they did not beware the end (for now)
for me I can actually see past the gpu drivel as I played original elite where your imagination did most of the work really
but not acceptable by todays standards that horizons itself set

Never had so many game crashes as I have today. Please fix asap, this game is more unstable that Star Citizen and that's not good.
